The Federal Trade Commission said on Monday it had ordered five e-cigarette companies, including Juul labs, to submit sales and advertising data.
The regulator said it had issued orders to Juul, R.J. Reynolds vapor Co., fontem us, logic technology development LLC and njoy to seek information for 2019 and 2020, including annual data on e-cigarette sales and gifts, as well as features of its e-cigarette products, such as tastes.
The US Federal Trade Commission issued a similar order in 2019 as part of its ongoing research on the US e-cigarette market.
