Recently, the FDA has sent multiple warning letters to the illegal steam smoke company, according to the US tobacco network. Some new steam electronic cigarette companies have started selling such products without passing the pre market tobacco product application, or PMTA program, according to the latest announcement data of the Bureau. For such illegal enterprises, 69 such warning letters have been sent out.
The latest letter from the agency was sent to a steam smoke company in Arizona, according to the report. In a warning letter to the steam smoke company, the FDA said that it continued to produce, sell and distribute its vapor and electronic smoke products to customers without permission.
Data show that on March 12 alone, the FDA sent warning letters to up to 13 companies that produce and sell unauthorized e-cigarettes.
