Juul quits e-cigarette Trade Association of Canada

Jullabs will exit the Canada electronic tobacco industry Trade Association (Vita) on the grounds of a disagreement on key policy issues.

"Although we appreciate the opportunity to work with vita, we will not renew our membership because we have not reached agreement on too many key policy issues," jullabs wrote in a statement "For example, we support the tobacco 21st century act, which increases the minimum age of purchase of tobacco and electronic tobacco products to 21 years old - to strengthen retail channel control and limit taste options."

The Canadian Juul laboratory said it will continue to focus on combating the use of electronic cigarettes by minors while retaining historic opportunities for adult smokers to abandon combustible cigarettes.
